Hollow Knight: Silksong is the long-awaited sequel to the acclaimed action-adventure Hollow Knight. Developed by Team Cherry and set to launch in 2023, the game sees the return of the beloved protagonist Hornet and introduces a brand-new kingdom to explore.
What We Know
Silksong is set after the events of the original Hollow Knight and stars Hornet, a princess-protector from Hallownest. Captured and brought to the kingdom of Pharloom, Hornet must ascend to the top of the kingdom and reach a shining citadel to uncover the mystery behind her kidnapping. Along the way, she’ll come across over 150 brand new enemies, including new bosses to fight.
Hollow Knight: Silksong also introduces a number of new features. Players can craft weapons, tools and traps from materials gathered from fallen enemies, and a journal will allow them to keep track of side quests. Hornet also has a Silk metre, and healing three nodes of health immediately empties the bar.
The game will feature the stunning art style of the original Hollow Knight, as well as a brand-new soundtrack composed by Christopher Larkin. Additionally, Hollow Knight: Silksong will release on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC – with a Xbox Game Pass release also confirmed.

With its stunning visuals, exciting new features, and a wide variety of enemies to fight, the game is sure to be a hit when it launches in 2023.
