Sony fans have been eagerly awaiting news of upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusives, and now a Ooze Leak piece of footage appears to give us a glimpse of an upcoming title. The game, which has been nicknamed “Ooze”, was shared to the Reddit GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit over the weekend.
The leaked footage shows a third-person shooter set in a sci-fi world, where a character in a futuristic-looking suit is seen aiming their gun at a towering alien structure that appears to have tentacles. According to reliable industry insider Dusk Golem, the footage is from an early version of the game, which is now much further along in development.
The game is apparently being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and is being created by an external studio, with support from Sony’s Liverpool-based development team XDEV. The nickname “Ooze” is said to make more sense when people see more of the game, with the insider saying the game is “very ooey, gooey”.
Unfortunately, Sony has yet to comment on the Ooze Leak, so it’s unknown when the game will be officially released or what the full title will be. However, the leaked footage has undoubtedly piqued the interest of PlayStation fans and it will be interesting to see what else is revealed about the game in the coming months.
