The Xbox Bethesda Developer Direct 2023 has brought exciting news for gamers, with announcements of new titles, updates, and features for some of the most popular franchises on the platform.
Minecraft Legends
The highly-anticipated Minecraft Legends was one of the main highlights of the event, with the reveal of new features, biomes, and mobs that will take the game to new heights. Players will now be able to explore the depths of the underworld, where they will encounter new mobs, such as the fiery Blaze and the terrifying Wither. The game will also introduce new biomes, such as the frozen ice spikes and the lush dense jungles, allowing players to explore and discover new worlds.
Forza Motorsport
The Forza Motorsport franchise will be receiving an update that will allow players to experience the thrill of racing in the latest and greatest supercars. The game will feature over 700 cars, with new models being added regularly, and a wide range of tracks, including real-world locations and fantasy circuits. The game will also feature new physics and graphics, making the racing experience more realistic and immersive.
Hi-Fi Rush
A new game, Hi-Fi Rush, was also announced, which is an action-adventure game that will take players on a journey through a vibrant and colorful world, filled with challenging obstacles, enemies, and boss battles. The game will feature a unique soundtrack that will change as players progress through the levels, and will also include a co-op mode, allowing players to team up and tackle the challenges together.
The Elder Scrolls Online: ESO
The Elder Scrolls Online franchise is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) and will be receiving an update, called ESO. This game will allow players to experience the world of Tamriel with friends and other players. Players can quest, explore and discover new stories together, and also personalize their characters with new skill lines, weapons, and armor.
Finally, the Developer_Direct closed out with a deep dive into Arkane Austin’s subsequent venture: Redfall. Enough trailers and showcases have released thus far that fans know what they’re getting into with this cooperative shooter, which features different personality classes that have unique abilities to fight hordes of vampires and their specialized variants – not in contrast to the Special Infected from Left 4 Dead. Among the variants seen in this show off were Shrouds, which surround the player in darkness; and all-powerful Rooks, summoned by the “Vampire Gods”
